Job Description

As a Revenue Manager, you are in-charge to implement and use Revenue Management methods, processes and tools in order to maximize room revenue opportunities and guest satisfaction. You will also provide direct support to the Director of Revenue Management.

  • Assist in the day-to-day tasks of Director of Revenue Management
  • Support Director of Revenue Management in managing demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the hotel
  • Analyze hotel results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR.).
  • Maximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and managing inventory.
  • Ensure parity of rates in all booking channels.
  • Ensure a close and continuous communication with the sales department to action on need periods and to optimize high demand period.
  • Actively monitors and cascades production of all segments to make sure strategies are implemented.
  • Attends weekly Revenue Management and Group meetings and cascade minutes to concerned departments

Qualifications

Profile

Knowledge and Experience

  • University/College degree in a related discipline required
  • Previous Revenue Management experience is an required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Window applications and Opera PMS
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
