Job Description

Reporting into the General Manager, you’ll be part of the dynamic pre-opening leadership team to ensure HYDE Perth is best positioned for maximising revenue, profitability, and reservations performance. You’ll play a pivotal role in preparing for pre-opening including leading strategic planning, analysis, and implementation of revenue management practices to optimise pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies across our rooms and F&B outlets. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market dynamics, and a proven record of accomplishment of driving revenue growth.

 

Main Functions

  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies to achieve financial goals for HYDE Perth.
  • Actively manage the Hotel’s revenue system -  IDEAS (RMS).
  • Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and customer behaviour and update pricing and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership teams to establish revenue targets and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of revenue management strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Oversee the implementation of pricing policies, distribution strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Lead weekly revenue maximisation meetings with property commercial teams to review performance and discuss strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure Best practice and (SOP) are followed to maximise synergies and drive profitability.
  • Utilise revenue management systems and tools to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
  • Lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the revenue management and reservation team.

Qualifications

  • You’re an experienced in revenue management with 4–5 years in the industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • You must be technically skilled with a strong understanding of systems and hotel operations. Opera Cloud and IDeaS G3 RMS experience is preferred.
  • You take ownership, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • You are methodical and have a process-driven approach to tasks but are also flexible and calm especially in times of tight deadlines.
  • You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
