We are ready to welcome a Reservations Sales Agent to our guest obsessed team in this influential role. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role and deliver flawless customer service at every part of their journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle incoming reservation inquires via phone, email and online channels
- Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently in our reservations system
- Provide information about the hotel facilities, services, and policies to guests
- Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
You will have:
- working experience in a similar role (front office / reservations within premium segment in hotels is preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
- a proven record of accurate reporting, while working within time constrains
- Ability to work full time (mostly Monday - Friday, however some weekend work may be required from time to time)
- an good understanding of reservations processes
- the ability to think creatively and be a proactive self-starter
- knowledge of the Adelaide market is advantageous
- experience working with Opera Cloud and Resaweb is preferred
