Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently undertaking a magnificent all-inclusive project in the oasis that is Playa Mujeres, just north of Cancun, Mexico.  SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection is planned to open November 2024.

Job Description

We are currently seeking our Reservations Manager to help us open up this lavish hotel.  Under the guidance of the Director of Revenue Management, the Reservations Manager will be primarily responsible for leading the Reservations team, ensuring a smooth and efficient daily operation of the reservations operation.

What you'll do...

  • Ensure every guest contacting the Reservations department receives our SLS service with luxury, style and care at all times.
  • Ensure all reservations are accurately actioned within the same working day.
  • Support all other departments, especially Sales, ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable stay with us and that we reach expected hotel room sale levels.
  • Maximize hotel revenue by identifying and accurately recording guest needs and special requests, and conducting continuous trainings for Reservations team.
  • Give feedback on developing, implementing and managing rate structures and strategies through market data review and demand analysis. 
  • Prepare arrival lists and do reservations checks to ensure every booking is confirmed and guaranteed.
  • Maintain a consistent focus on improving the overall flow of Reservations operations.
  • Lead daily Reservations briefings and monthly team meetings.
  • Ensure all team members are aware of room revenue targets and kept informed of performance results.
  • Handle guest complaints and enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Ensure the privacy of our guests and the confidentiality of their information.
  • Ensure that hotel's website and other booking channels are fully optimized to maximize traffic from key search engines.

Qualifications

About you...

  • 2+ years of supervisory and/or management experience in the Reservations team of a hotel of similar size.  All-inclusive and luxury/lifestyle is preferred.
  • You are high energy and can keep your team (and yourself) motivated.
  • Your guest service skills are excellent.
  • You have strong Experience in leading teams.
  • You have keen knowledge of hotel systems including Opera and other PMS, CRS and RMS systems.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Spanish.
