Job Description

Job Title: Reservations Agent 

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Permanent, Full-time 

As Reservations Agent you will help contribute towards promoting and selling of Fairmont St. Andrews bedrooms and facilities.

A little bit about what you will be doing:

  • Take telephone enquiries for leisure room bookings (8 rooms and under) using appropriate level of efficiency and sales techniques
  • Respond to enquiries via the website, email and letter, in a timely manner with the appropriate level of efficiency and sales techniques
  • Have a good knowledge of the Resorts facilities – SPA, Golf and Food and Beverage outlets, in order that these facilities can be sold to the guest
  • Assisting with the procedure for group bookings – inputting of rooming list, and group amendments
  • Have sufficient knowledge of the packages that are available including Valentines, Easter, Christmas, New Year in order that these can be sold

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Previous experience within a similar role is preferred
