Job Description

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservation Manager to join our team in Thailand's vibrant capital city. As the Reservation Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our booking processes, enhancing guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our luxury wellness resort.

  • Develop and implement effective reservation strategies to support the resort's business goals
  • Manage and lead the reservations team, ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize pricing and occupancy rates
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, including staff scheduling and performance management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out
  • Implement and maintain reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
  • Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
  • Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Participate in weekly revenue meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards related to reservations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in hotel reservations, including 2 years in management
  • Proven expertise in reservation systems (particularly OPERA Cloud) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in Thai and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills, with experience in market analysis and revenue management strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume operations, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, and develop team members
  • Outstanding customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury hotel market in Bangkok and Thai hospitality standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
