Job Description

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, Thailand is seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies to maximize our resort's financial performance while aligning with our wellness-focused mission.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all channels
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and make informed pricing decisions
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives
  • Oversee the management of distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Implement and optimize revenue management systems and tools to enhance decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights
  • Present revenue performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in revenue management, particularly in the wellness resort sector
  • Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing revenue management department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue optimization strategies and techniques, particularly in the context of wellness resorts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and data visualization tools
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends, including the Thai hospitality market and regional economic landscape
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in both Thai and English
  • Experience with wellness or medical tourism is a plus
