Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Reservation Executive to join our team in Coimbatore, India. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for managing guest bookings, ensuring optimal room utilization, and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
  • Provide detailed information about room types, rates, and hotel amenities to potential guests
  • Manage and update the hotel's reservation system to ensure accurate booking records
  • Collaborate with other departments to accommodate special requests and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Monitor and analyze occupancy trends to optimize room availability and pricing
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel promotions, packages, and local events
  • Assist in training new team members on reservation procedures and best practices
  • Generate reports on booking statistics and reservation trends for management review

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems, preferably Opera or similar platforms
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
  • Excellent communication abilities in English, both verbal and written (additional languages are a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Solid understanding of hospitality industry trends and best practices
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding booking targets and revenue goals
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Additional Information
