Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Reservation Agent/ Group Coordinator to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for managing individual and group reservations, ensuring a smooth booking process, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
  • Coordinate group bookings, including room blocks, meeting spaces, and special requests
  • Provide detailed information about our accommodations, amenities, and local attractions
  • Assist guests with modifying or canceling reservations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
  • Process payments and manage billing for individual and group reservations
  • Generate and distribute daily reservation reports
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly
  • Upsell room upgrades and additional services when appropriate
  • Stay updated on local events and promotions to inform guests

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and booking software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and booking issues
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and group rates
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services in 6th of October City and surrounding areas
  • Familiarity with travel and tourism industry trends
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
