We are currently looking for a Regional Director of People & Culture to join our team here at Ennismore to lead the People & Culture function across Asia.
Ennismore is growing quickly and has ambitious plans, so we are looking for someone who will lead our existing Hotels in the region as well as take on additional properties in the future. This role will report directly to the VP of People & Culture and work closely with the Executive Vice President Operations for the region.
This role will work across multiple properties and multiple projects at a time in collaboration with various discipline leads both on property and above property.
Goals of this role include acting as culture champion and custodian of Ennismore, ensuring the brand DNA of each hotels stays at the heart of everything we do as well as taking it into the future; attracting and retaining the best talent across Ennismore; attaining high team member engagement; creating an efficient, supportive and modern approach to the everyday people management across our business.
The ideal candidate is an experienced human resource professional in all aspects, is a trusted leader, can lead change, works quickly and is a natural collaborator.
What you'll do...
- You'll get involved and lead projects. We want to hear your ideas and get your input.
- You’ll lead and manage the Homebase team across the region.
- Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to: recruitment, wage and salary administration, training, and employee relations.
- You’ll ensure that the hotels operate within the employment law framework in each operating state and locality.
- You will advise General Managers, Senior Leadership and People & Cultures teams on all people-related items.
- Drive above property initiatives from a brand and/or Ennismore wide perspective.
- Lead investigations of a serious nature and any that involve multi property concerns.
- Provide oversight for labor relations, employee relations, employment matters, employment claims and litigation for Ennismore’s Home Base Louisville office and for property level matters requiring senior level attention.
- Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, alignment to incentive plans, and feedback exchange for all properties in the region. These are to be in line with Ennismore global process and programs as set.
- Ensure Ennismore programs are implemented and adopted within any hotels in the assigned remit.
- Drive the career development process and succession planning for the region.
- Establish competitive wage rates, staffing plans and employee relations strategy for the brand and region.
What we're looking for...
- You have at least four years’ experience as the human resource leader in a multi-property hotel environment; lifestyle hotels a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
- Ability to simplify processes and create buy-in at all levels.
- You can partner with anyone to get things done.
- A quick learner, with a growth mindset and are up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
