Job Description

  1. Attends regular training sessions in line with the departmental P&P i.e. guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, up-selling, etc.
  2. Works as per instructions from the immediate Supervisor and as per duty shifts i.e. basic cleaning work, polishing equipment, collects materials / goods from other departments, etc.
  3. Communicates directly with guests i.e. presents menus, helps with recommendations, receives orders, places orders and handles payments. 
  4. Ensures proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming whilst on duty.
  5. Provide a welcoming, engaging and friendly environment to all customers and engage with new and regular customers
  6. Maintains a professional / friendly, yet discreet relationship with the outlet patrons to ensure their well-being.
  7. Makes himself / herself familiar with all menus, promotions, and other relevant issues concerning the outlet (product knowledge)
  8. Learn and stay current on all menu items, ingredients, brewing and preparation methods and specialty/new items
  9. Assist guests with equipment rentals and provide instruction on proper use
  10. Monitor recreational areas to ensure safety and enforce rules and regulations
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
  12. Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational equipment and areas
  13. Maintain cleanliness of recreational areas and equipment
  14. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
  15. Upholding high hygiene standard.
  16. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  17. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Hotel working experience more than 1 year
  • Have skills in swimming and rescuing victims of water disasters
  • Passing a training course on helping victims of water disasters will receive special consideration.
