We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all purchasing activities, ensuring optimal procurement strategies and cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Manage and coordinate all purchasing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and order placement
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill departmental purchasing needs
• Oversee inventory management and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
• Train and mentor junior purchasing staff to improve team performance
• Evaluate and implement new procurement technologies and processes to enhance efficiency
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Stay informed about local and international procurement regulations and practices

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems
• Knowledge of local procurement regulations and practices in Iraq
• Familiarity with international trade and customs procedures
