Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic PR campaigns that enhance the hotel’s visibility and support repositioning and branding initiatives.
  • Assist in the drafting of press releases, media alerts, editorials, and internal newsletters to communicate key messages and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with media outlets, influencers, and brand partners to facilitate earned media coverage, collaborations, and media stays.
  • Support the planning and execution of press events, media trips, product launches, and on-property activations in alignment with brand standards.
  • Track media coverage and PR campaign performance, providing reporting and insights to guide future initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all external communications and media materials.
  • Assist in managing internal communications, particularly during key campaigns or stakeholder updates.
  • Conduct competitive media monitoring and basic market research to identify PR opportunities and maintain market awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging.

  • Strong media relations skills with experience in drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating media visits, and handling media inquiries.

  • Familiarity with PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision, or PR Newswire is an advantage.

  • Experience managing and creating content for social media platforms, with a good understanding of tone, voice, and engagement strategies.

  • Basic knowledge of branding, storytelling, and visual communication, including working with designers and photographers.

  • Experience supporting the planning and execution of events, photo/video shoots, and media campaigns.

  • Ability to maintain consistency in brand messaging across all communication touchpoints (online and offline).

  • Knowledge of internal communication practices and tools (e.g., newsletters, staff announcements).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools is a plus.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages (such as French or Arabic) are a plus depending on region and guest profile.
