Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth in this unique and culturally rich destination.

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
  • Manage the company's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
  • Oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content for various marketing initiatives
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies
  • Manage and optimize the company's digital presence, including website, social media, and online advertising
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and influencers in the region
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO/SEM, and content marketing
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and content management systems (CMS)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international setting
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for staying current with marketing trends and technologies
  • Experience in destination marketing or promoting cultural attractions is highly desirable

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
