Company Description

Based on the fun side of the city where Hyde Park meets Oxford St at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, we have a new opportunity to join our team. Working within a Hub supporting 4 key Accor Hotel properties in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, you will take your skillset to the next level gaining multi-hotel experience as our Accounts Payable Officer.  

This position works within our Finance Hub of 10+ experienced accounting professionals to learn from and reports directly to the Portfolio Director of Finance.


Job Description

Our Accounts Payable Officer will: 

  • Verify invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Check approved purchase orders are attached to invoices.
  • Ensuring vendor information is up to date and all data is recorded accurately.
  • Prepare payment runs, following vendor payment terms.
  • End of month responsibilities including reporting;
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • Great time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a close team environment and a willingness to learn;
  • Experience within the Hospitality sector advantageous but not essential;
  • Experience in accounts through work or studies; 
  • Strong attention to detail; 
  • Customer service experience and good communication skills;
  • Full working rights in Australia; and
  • Experience within the Hospitality sector advantageous but not essential.
