Job Description

The People and Culture Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources operations within the property, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, legal requirements, local labor law, and brand standards, while fostering a culture of engagement, excellence, and luxury service. People and Culture Manager’s responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Plan, direct, and manage all Human Resources functions within the property, including payroll, administration, recruitment, training, development, and internal communications.
  • Ensure the achievement of Objectives on a Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basis.
  • Prepare, manage and implement Departmental budget, guidelines, policies and procedures in compliance with corporate direction and applicable labor laws.
  • Ensure effective communication between management and talents, promoting transparency, alignment, and engagement across the property.
  • Maintains a forward-thinking mindset to achieve the department and overall property goals.
  • Be an inspiration to all hotel colleagues to achieve luxury levels of performance.
  • Serve as a role model for Brand Standards and company values at all times.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence to both guests and colleagues through the effective implementation and delivery of Pullman Core Standards.
  • Lead recruitment, scheduling, training, and development of talent, including coaching, performance management, counseling, problem resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of departmental, divisional, and hotel-wide recognition and engagement initiatives.
  • Drive high levels of colleague engagement by leading action planning initiatives based on Employee Engagement Survey results, ensuring continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Human Resources role within the hospitality industry; experience in an international hotel chain is considered a strong advantage.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of Georgian labor legislation and employment best practices.
  • Experience in HR administration systems and attendance management; familiarity with SelfHR is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Georgian and English, both written and verbal.
