People & Culture Coordinator - The Hoxton, Lloyd

Region

Luxury & Lifestyle

Company Description

We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join us at The Hoxton Lloyd!

About The Hoxton

Set in the iconic former Lloyd Hotel on Amsterdam’s Oostelijke Handelskade, The Hoxton brings together a building rich in character and history with everything you’d expect from a modern lifestyle hotel. Our 136 rooms, vibrant bar and restaurant, and unique meeting and events concept, The Apartment, make The Hoxton a place to stay, eat, work and connect.

The Hoxton is a collection of open-house hotels, each with its own character and a strong connection to its neighbourhood. Since opening our first hotel in London’s Shoreditch, we’ve always been about more than just a place to stay. We create spaces where guests and locals feel welcome, connected and at home.

    • Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, HR systems and review systems
    • Support the annual legal audit of employee files
    • Support hour registration and payroll processes
    • Stay up to date with Dutch employment legislation and People-related requirements

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for...

    • It’s all about attitude for us. You’re helpful, approachable and the person people feel confident coming to with any question.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality.
    • Passion for creating a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee experience
    • You execute. You’re organised, detail-oriented and able to juggle priorities while getting things done.
    • You’re familiar with HR systems, payroll processes and Microsoft Office, and communicate clearly in English. Dutch is a plus.
    • You handle confidential information with care, professionalism and discretion.
    • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here.
    • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
    • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
    • You are humble.  There are no egos, and no drama
    • You love people. It is a role in our People function after all.
