Promoting a memorable experience in an authentic location is the essence of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator’s role at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your professionalism and knowledge of the Hotel will reflect positively in how you present the property. Building strong relationships will create a bond, ensuring your clients will always stay with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

• Execute strategic campaigns and engage followers/fans on all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.  to effectively increase following and use social media as a platform to generate revenue
• Post dynamic content to key partner sites (Wholesale, Consortia, Wedding, CVent) as well as Sonoma County Tourism and Sonoma Visitors Bureau)
• Work with Fairmont Corporate to stay updated on all brand internet marketing campaigns, toolkits and standards.
• Participate in weekly sales team and Revmax meetings to share new initiatives and understand business needs
• Assist in the development and execution of the hotel’s yearly marketing plan in conjunction with the Director, Sales & Marketing to support all revenue streams:  Rooms, Food & Beverage and Spa
• Update and coordinate on property collateral, including digital signage, reader boards, in-room TVs etc.
• Assist with projects as required and other duties as assigned
• Create itineraries, reservations, amenity requests for incoming media, liaising with Front Office, Reservations, F&B,
• Housekeeping, Spa and any other relevant departments as necessary
• Track all media hosted
• Create and host community events
• Update media clipping portfolio and maintain press kits
• Research publications and journalists as necessary in preparation of site alert
• Assist with hotel photo and video shoots, coordinate photo shoot resume, liaise with Front Office, Engineering,
• Reservations, F&B, Spa, Beach and Pool and other relevant department

• Service focused personality is essential and previous Rooms leadership experience in a luxury hotel required
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
• Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
• Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong network skills
• Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance

Hourly rate of $30.00
