Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

Park Services Manager

The Park Services Manager is responsible for the overall management and park services operation of the waterpark. This includes supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining safety standards, overseeing maintenance, maintaining and controlling laundry operations, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in waterpark operations and a strong commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

  • Lead the daily park services operations of the waterpark to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise park services staff.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Create and manage work schedules, assign daily tasks, and monitor staff performance.
  • Lead the daily operations of the park services department to ensure all areas of the property are clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to and resolving guest complaints or issues related to park services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Manage the team members uniform and laundry operations efficiently and maintained well.
  • Manage the park services budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in park management, with at least 2 years in a waterpark environment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
