Job Description

Our Guide's Pantry outlet provides prompt, professional and efficient service, offering fresh daily baked goods, gourmet sandwiches, salads, hot food, soups, decadent desserts and a range of hot and cold beverages. The one outlet at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise that never sleep, The Guides Pantry operates 24hrs 365 days of the year with a primarily “to go” service. Boasting the title of Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s busiest outlet, the Guide’s Pantry serves over 200,000 guests yearly.

Pay Rate: $25.96

Job Duties Include:

  • You will be working overnight to help the outlet achieve 24-hour coverage
  • Ensuring that the outlet maintains a first class and positive visual impact, including ambiance, cleanliness, orderliness, decor and service flows.
  • To ensure that guest comments and complaints are thoroughly investigated and corrective actions are taken in order to prevent repetition of the complaint. 
  • Ensure that daily management and guests billing reports comply with company procedures and departmental guidelines.
  • Be involved in departmental payroll and schedule process

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of Food and Beverage experience, in a fast-paced environment. Post Secondary Degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management is an asset
  • Previous Food and Beverage Leadership experience.
  • Displays high initiative and requires minimal supervision and direction.
  • Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
