Job Description

  • The Night Manager will manage the Night Team to deliver performance in compliance with targets and objectives
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction and put measures in place to meet department quality targets and objectives
  • Staff training (induction, health and safety, security, technical and behavioral)
  • Managing the Night Team to ensure effective delivery of sales and high standards of customer service
  • Have full awareness of Hampton by Hilton brand standards and set up action plans to ensure that the Night team follow through on these on a daily basis
  •  Manage staff in line with the business needs, and costs within the department
  • Ensure all Front of House areas of responsibility are run effectively in line with standards and that the department is adequately resourced in line with business requirements
  • Be the Manager on Duty during the night shift
  • Handle complaints to the guest’s satisfaction whilst ensuring great communication / feedback is delivered to the relevant manager in order to action
  • Support the bar operation, as and when required
  • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to in line with company standards and financial audits
  •  Be confident in the ability to co-ordinate staff and guests in hotel evacuation and Fire safety
  •  Maintain a ‘hands on’ approach and remain professional at all times, creating a culture of excellent customer care, both internally and externally
  • Conduct health and safety checks and night walks, ensuring a minimum of 2 security checks at regular intervals with emphasis on security, and fire safety
  • Responsible for the Night Audits and closing the day’s business
  • Full knowledge of computer system and carry out reception duties as necessary such as late check-ins, early check-outs, extending stays, wake up calls
  •  Carry out a comprehensive hand over to early Duty Manager before end of shift
  • Maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas
  •  Health and Safety management – complying with company procedures and Safety Risk Audits 
  •  Keep staff / work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management observe all requirements under health and safety legislation

Qualifications

  • pervious working experience within a Night Manager Role in 5 Star hotel resort
  • Very Good Communication and Written Skills 
  • Multilingual - English & Russian Second language is a plus  
  •  Excellent Leadership Skills 
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a Team
  • Customer Service Skills 
  • Proven Experience with Front Office Management Systems
