Job Description

As our next Night Auditor, you…

Would be described as a committed team member with human knowledge, a distinct personality and someone who can work in a structured way. And, not entirely unimportant; you work shifts from 10:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. - so you can organize your free time flexibly! With the current times there could be the options to work shifts during the day - a way to increase skills and get to know our Guests better.
Are the ‘face of Mercure London Bridge’, extending a warm welcome to our guests during the night, putting their well-being and safety at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.

Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments to set up for the next day.

Are an autonomous and passionate individual, dedicated to continuously improving the quality of the hotel's services.

Undertake night audits and hotel safety checks to make sure everyone in our hotel is safe and looked after.

You should be confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention.


Qualifications

  • Good level written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures as well as guest confidentiality
  • Ability to use Property Management System software such as OPERA Cloud
  • Competency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Finance team is advantageous

Additional Information

To help you navigate your role, and support your success you will be trained in all front of house related functions and the safety of the property and people.

To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English.

Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

- Annual salary £27,763.32
- Annual leave: increase by 1 day for each continuous year of service (up to a max of 5 additional days)
