Job Description

Position Focus: Multi-Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing

This is a commercially driven role with a core focus split of approximately 80% active Sales and Business Development and 20% strategic Marketing management.

You will design and execute high-impact local and national campaigns, including:

  • Business Development (Core Focus): Proactively identifying, securing, and nurturing high-value corporate accounts, wholesale partners, and local groups to directly drive revenue.

  • Team Leadership & Performance Culture: Inspiring, mentoring, and directly managing the dual-property Sales and Marketing team. You will set clear KPIs, foster a high-performance culture, and implement accountability structures to ensure the team consistently hits or exceeds individual and collective room-night and revenue targets.

  • Commercial Reporting & Analysis: Managing, preparing, and presenting comprehensive sales and marketing reports (including pipeline tracking, ROI analysis, and conversion metrics). You will use these data insights to track performance trends, evaluate campaign success, and pivot strategies where necessary.

  • Financial Planning & Strategy: Formulating, managing, and executing exposure to the comprehensive business plan and budget preparation to ensure maximum ROI on commercial activities.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Leading regular commercial sales meetings with General Managers, Revenue Managers, international business owners, and corporate stakeholders to ensure aligned global and local business goals.

  • Campaign Strategy: Developing and executing short, medium, and long-term sales-led marketing strategies to achieve room-night and event targets.

  • Digital & Brand Presence: Overseeing local social media channels, content creation, and digital advertising to maximize online visibility and direct bookings.

  • Public Relations: Spearheading local PR initiatives, community engagement, and partnership opportunities to embed the hotels into the Perth fabric.

  • Collab & Optimization: Analysing market trends and competitive sets to optimize spend and aggressively shift market share from competitors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a Hotel Sales role (with supporting marketing exposure) or a highly relevant corporate hospitality environment.
  • Multi-property experience is highly regarded, but a proven ability to manage multiple commercial priorities is essential.  A strong, proven track record of delivering measurable commercial results and growing corporate market share.  Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build deep relationships across the local Perth corporate market and international stakeholders.
  • Solid commercial acumen with a creative mindset — you know how to turn lead generation into measurable revenue.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, sales pipeline management, and supporting digital tools.
