Job Description

The Marketing Manager supports the planning, development, and execution of the hotel's marketing and communication activities to strengthen brand awareness, drive guest engagement, and support revenue generation.

The role works closely with Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Operations, and other departments to deliver effective marketing campaigns while ensuring alignment with brand standards and the Saudi Arabian market.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Support the development and implementation of the hotel's annual marketing plan and calendar.
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns for rooms, restaurants, events, experiences, and other hotel offerings.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with approved brand guidelines and standards.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing collateral, promotional materials, signage, and digital content.
  • Support hotel positioning and storytelling to strengthen awareness within local, regional, and international target markets.
  • Maintain an updated library of approved hotel photography, videos, presentations, fact sheets, and other brand assets.
  • Coordinate with external creative agencies, photographers, videographers, printers, and other suppliers when required.

 

 

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Support the management of the hotel's social media channels and digital presence.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with hotel activities, campaigns, and commercial priorities.
  • Coordinate the creation of engaging photo, video, and written content.
  • Monitor social media engagement, guest comments, messages, and online conversations and coordinate appropriate responses.
  • Support paid digital and social media campaigns and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Ensure the hotel's website and online content remain accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Track digital performance indicators such as reach, engagement, traffic, leads, and conversions.

Content & Communications

  • Develop and coordinate creative content highlighting the hotel, destination, experiences, colleagues, sustainability initiatives, and community activities.
  • Prepare marketing copy, promotional messages, newsletters, presentations, and other communication materials.
  • Support Arabic and English marketing communications and coordinate professional translation where required.
  • Assist with media visits, influencer collaborations, content creators, and public relations activities.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of press releases and media materials in coordination with the relevant regional or corporate teams.

Commercial Support

  • Work closely with Sales and Revenue teams to develop campaigns supporting occupancy, revenue, and business needs.
  • Support Food & Beverage marketing initiatives, including restaurant promotions, seasonal campaigns, special events, and festive activities.
  • Assist in developing tactical campaigns during need periods and key Saudi tourism and travel seasons.
  • Support marketing activities around Ramadan, Eid, Saudi National Day, Founding Day, and other relevant occasions.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging hospitality and tourism developments in Saudi Arabia.
  • Prepare regular marketing performance reports and recommendations.

Partnerships & Local Market Engagement

  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with relevant local businesses, tourism organizations, event organizers, lifestyle brands, and community partners.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen the hotel's visibility within the local Saudi market.
  • Coordinate approved influencer and content-creator collaborations in accordance with brand and company guidelines.
  • Support destination marketing initiatives that promote the hotel and its surrounding attractions and experiences.

Financial & Administrative

  • Assist in managing the marketing budget and monitoring departmental expenses.
  • Process purchase requests, quotations, invoices, and marketing-related documentation according to company procedures.
  • Maintain proper records of marketing campaigns, agreements, suppliers, and expenditures.
  • Ensure marketing activities are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, luxury, or a related industry.
  • Previous hotel marketing experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand management.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, events, photography, videography, or creative agencies.
  • Good knowledge of the Saudi hospitality and tourism market is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media management, digital marketing, and basic design/content tools.
  • Experience with hotel systems and brand marketing platforms is an advantage.
