Job Description

  • Presenting marketing performance updates at monthly meetings, highlighting ROI, insights, and opportunities for new activity in response to business trends.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager, and Commercial Team to integrate marketing and communications strategies across departments.
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with external agencies, partners, and brand representatives to ensure alignment with Fairmont and Accor standards.
  • Oversee in co-ordination with the Digital Marketing Manager, update the resort’s digital presence, ensuring website, email, and social media platforms reflect brand standards, current content, and strategic messaging.
  • Managing and optimising databases and CRM systems for all business segments, including golf, spa, rooms, and F&B, to drive targeted communication and guest engagement.
  • Acting as the brand champion, ensuring all marketing materials, imagery, and communications adhere to Fairmont’s global identity standards.
  • Leading the design and production of marketing collateral, both digital and print, to support guest acquisition and retention.
  • Coordinating with Fairmont and Accor regional marketing teams to implement brand campaigns locally.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local, regional, and national media across travel, lifestyle, business, and leisure sectors.
  • Developing and distributing press releases, coordinating media visits, and acting as spokesperson when required.
  • Identifying and executing PR opportunities, partnerships, and community initiatives that align with the Fairmont brand and promote resort awareness.
  • Monitoring media coverage, evaluating results, and circulating relevant stories internally.
  • Coordinating and supporting resort events, including weddings, corporate launches, and trade exhibitions, ensuring consistent branding and communication.
  • Organizing and promoting in-house events such as wedding fairs and F&B activations.
  • Developing and maintaining local partnerships and community initiatives that enhance brand reputation and drive positive PR exposure.
  • Representing the resort at trade shows, media events, and relevant exhibitions to explore new opportunities.
  • Compiling monthly marketing performance reports, highlighting activity, spend, ROI, and key learnings.
  • Monitoring campaign effectiveness, adjusting plans to maximise impact and return on investment.
  • Supporting and collaborating with all departments to ensure marketing initiatives drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Mentoring, training, and guiding marketing team members and colleagues to build skills and foster a guest-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Marketing Communication, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry

  • Strong knowledge of hotel branding, digital marketing, social media management, and content creation

  • Proven experience in handling media relations, advertising, promotions, and marketing campaigns

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional languages are an advantage)

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Proficient in marketing tools, social media platforms, and basic design or content management systems

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor campaign performance and ROI

  • Good budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills
