We are currently seeking a maintenance officer to join our dynamic Team.  Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is suitable for someone looking for variety in their day and is passionate about providing high quality maintenance/handy person support. 

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for addressing a range of maintenance issues including guest requests, back of house requests and any safety issues.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Responding to a range of guest requests as a first priority.
• Investigating and completing assigned jobs in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with OHS and safety procedures.
• Completing tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program.
• Encouraging the effective use of energy and water resources.
• Basic handyperson skills such as plastering, painting, minor carpentry
• Understanding and ability to use software systems such as a BMS, CMMS and Microsoft Office
• Assisting the resort grounds person with gardening.

Skills & Experience:

• A good knowledge and proven experience in all areas of Maintenance
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work unsupervised
• Sound understanding of OH&S and Manual Handling
• Ability to work on a rotating roster, which includes morning, afternoon, weekend & Public Holiday shifts.   
• Basic understanding of central plant, HVAC, hot water and electrical systems
• Full Australian Working Rights
