Job Description

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Deliver a professional service that meets the standards of a luxury five-star environment.
• Supporting the flow of deliveries in and out of the loading dock ensuring safe, secure and efficient service.
• Coordinate and facilitate all booking requests associated to the use of the loading dock. This includes bookings for Castle Residents.
• Maintaining good liaison, open communication and build relationships with residents, all regular delivery companies and staff.
• Ensure that all operating areas are kept in a clean and well-presented manner associated with the Dock.
• Informing the Purchasing / Loading Dock Manager of any Incidents within all areas of operation.
• Follow procedures for loading Dock operation – monitoring of dock congestion, peak hours of use, street access, comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Understand and become familiar with the orientation of the building including; garbage/bulk waste, recycling, loading bays, car parks, location of building systems relating to Dock operation.
• Operating safely as per procedure the MRV lift for vehicles to access all parking & dock areas.
• Coordinate stores using best practice safety standards for food and weight handling when receiving.
• Ensure timely coordination & communications with all departments in relation to receiving/delivery of goods including missing stock items, credits and returns.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Purchasing / Loading Bay Manager. This may include but not limited to training in use of Purchase Plus and assisting other departments.
• Work closely with team members from all departments. Driveway is shared with Valet/Concierge and a key support focus is required here


Qualifications

  • Previous loading bay and logistics experience beneficial but not necessary
  • Knowledge of Purchase Plus is an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of Outlook and Microsoft programs
  • Flexible with hours and positive attitude to work
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate efficiently
  • Team player, honest, reliable and dedicated
