Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Pullman London St Pancras. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and contributing to the overall success of our dining experience.

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes
  • Supervise and participate in food preparation, cooking and plating
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to improve their skills and efficiency
  • Assist in cost control measures, including minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient usage
  • Contribute to menu planning and recipe development

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting
  • Proven experience in kitchen management and staff supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Salary:

£34,678 per annum (£17.10 per hour) + monthly service charge.

Eligibility: The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
