Job Description

We are looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst (Intern) to join the Global FP&A team at Ennismore for a 6-month internship, supporting our VP FP&A and FP&A Manager on various financial planning and analysis activities, providing crucial insights into corporate and hotel performance. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to the hospitality industry and enhance your analytical skills in a real-world business environment.

What you’ll do…

  • Corporate Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes, including monthly performance review decks, budget variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
  • Hotel Performance: Support the FP&A Manager in ensuring data quality and consistency across our hotel portfolio.
  • Budgeting and Reforecasting: Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes by gathering relevant data and preparing budget templates.
  • Ad hoc Projects: Contribute to ad hoc projects related to financial analysis, process improvements or system implementations

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Interest in the hospitality industry and a desire to learn about financial operations in this sector.
