Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

IT Supervisor

The IT Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the IT department and ensuring that all systems are functioning smoothly. Supervise the clerks, oversee the installation and maintenance of hardware and software, and provide technical support as necessary. 

  • Support the IT department with day-to-day tasks
  • Monitors the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software systems
  • Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues
  • Follow IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
  • Work within the IT budgets
  • Stay current with advances in technology and recommend upgrades or new systems as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of hotel/theme park IT systems, including property management systems and guest Wi-Fi
  • Excellent supervisory and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
