Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Officer to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As an IT Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and implementing innovative solutions to drive business success.

  • Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and data centers
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems
  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Manage cloud computing initiatives and optimize cloud-based services
  • Administer and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues
  • Lead IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs and challenges
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and data centers
  • Expertise in cybersecurity practices and tools
  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services
  • Solid understanding of database management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management abilities with a track record of successful IT implementations
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA) are preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative IT solutions
