Job Description

This is a full time, minimum 30 hours per week role, $28.18 per hour.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations at Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square. Some of these tasks include the following:

  • Inspecting and releasing rooms.
  • Supervise and support Room Attendants daily, whilst liaising with the different departments of the hotel.
  • Attend to guest queries and complaints.
  • On job training of employees.
  • Assist with cleaning of rooms when required.

Qualifications

Your skills and experience include:

  • Previous experience as a Self Checker or Team Leader in Housekeeping preferred
  • Knowledge of Housekeeping operations
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work on a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to lead and influence a team.
