We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team.
Job Description
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas to established brand standards.
- Replenishing guest amenities, linen and room supplies.
- Reporting maintenance issues, lost property and any safety concerns.
- Assisting with linen handling, stock replenishment and housekeeping storage areas.
- Maintaining housekeeping equipment and ensuring chemicals are used and stored safely.
- Responding to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Following all hotel policies relating to safety, security and guest confidentiality.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Supporting Accor's Heartist culture by providing genuine hospitality to guests and colleagues alike.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
- The physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, pushing and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid Australian working rights.
