Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to Cancun, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

Job Description

As Hotel Manager at SLS Playa Mujeres, you will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of a luxury all-inclusive resort, ensuring alignment with the brand’s elevated lifestyle identity and the vision of Ennismore and the Accor collective. You will drive performance through cross-functional leadership, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and innovation — all while maintaining the essence of SLS: bold, stylish, and sophisticated.

With a strong focus on service excellence, digital engagement, and talent development, you will champion high standards across all departments. Your entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative leadership will ensure profitability, brand consistency, and long-term value for both guests and owners.

  • Oversee and elevate operational performance in all departments, particularly  Food & Beverage, ensuring consistency with SLS brand standards and a guest-first approach.
  • Lead senior leadership meetings and cross-departmental collaboration, driving discussions on financial outcomes, service innovation, and operational strategy.
  • Ensure the resort’s infrastructure, maintenance, and safety programs meet the highest standards of efficiency, compliance, and guest comfort.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to manage forecasting, budget planning, and performance analysis.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, mentorship, and accountability through strong leadership in talent development and performance management.
  • Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty by proactively improving service touchpoints, addressing concerns, and leading innovation in the guest experience.
  • Maintain a strong, transparent partnership with the hotel owners and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and consistently delivering value and results.
  • Establish and monitor operational procedures, service standards, and productivity targets.
  • Oversee guest satisfaction metrics, operational KPIs, and quality assurance systems.
  • Act as the key liaison between General Management and operational departments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior hotel leadership role, ideally within a luxury or lifestyle all-inclusive resort.
  • Deep operational expertise in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and guest services.
  • Strong financial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
  • Passion for hospitality, innovation, and lifestyle-driven experiences.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.
