Ibis Christchurch is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role you will:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the day to day maintenance of the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.
- Respond to and action maintenance requests in a timely manner .
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.
- Ensure the building remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Trade qualification preferred
- General building and trade knowledge with experience in a similar role preferable
- Eye for detail and great organizational skills.
- Computer and technology savvy
- Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously
