Ibis Christchurch is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role you will:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in the day to day maintenance of the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.
• Respond to and action maintenance requests in a timely manner .
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.
• Ensure the building remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.

• Trade qualification preferred
• General building and trade knowledge with experience in a similar role preferable
• Eye for detail and great organizational skills.
• Computer and technology savvy
• Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously
