Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is Accor's breathtaking beachfront property located in the financial capital of India. Offering an inventory of 204 guest rooms and suites along with 6 dining options serving Chinese, Indian, Italian and Continental cuisines.
Nestled amidst the shores of Juhu Beach overlooking the Arabian Sea, it is a fitting venue for a beach stay-cation within the city itself. The hotel is a short walk from the ISKCON Temple, famous Prithvi Theatre, cinema halls and entertainment options. Hotel is strategically located near airport. Western Express Highway & nearest Metro Station is just 3km away. Popular Bollywood studios are 20 minutes from hotel. Juhu Chowpatty, a famous tourist spot to enjoy local street food, is 10 minutes away.
Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is centrally located in Mumbai city, on Juhu Beach, close to shopping centres and corporate hub, neighbours the Bollywood Boulevard and is well connected to the landmarks, airports and tourist attractions of the city.
Main Duties:
Administration
- To maintain and update the restaurant guest history records.
- To maintain a legible and up-to-date reservation book.
- To type and co-ordinate the printing of all restaurant menus in liaison with the outlet Manager.
Operational
- To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional, friendly, courteous and professional guest service at all times.
- To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
- To be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific table assignments or other requests.
- To maintain the entrance area and hostess station in a clean and orderly manner at all times..
- To greet and seat guests in a professional and organized manner and offer the menu cards after seating.
- To work in a supportive and flexible manner with other employees and other departments.
- To treat all operating equipments and supplies carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage.
- To take reservations and manage table assignments for the outlet.
- To follow all telephone usage guidelines while conversing with guests on the phone.
- To wish guests farewell as they leave the restaurant.
- To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.

Personnel
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the outlet and all other departments.
- To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel training as scheduled and other related activities.
- To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control.
- To have a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies & Procedures.
Other Duties
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
- To have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- To comply with local legislation as required.
- To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel.
- To be flexible in the job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.
- To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.

- Relevant experience as a F&B Hostess or similar is an asset
- Diploma/ BS degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
- Excellent communication skills & guest engagement skills
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency in English
