• To be able to give full fitness services to both in house guests and local guests, to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency as required by the hotel.
• Responsible for the Fitness Centre operation of all exercise equipment within the section.
• To oversee the cleanliness and tidiness of the Fitness Centre.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in excellent working order at all times.
• To establish good public relation with all users of the facilities of the Fitness Centre.
• To attend any training required, both technical and practical in operating the equipment and being able to get the maximum out of all equipment located within the Fitness Centre.
• To be familiar with all equipment within the Fitness Centre.
• To introduce all activities and facilities of the Fitness Centre to its patrons.
• To ensure that at all times staff working within the Centre are neat, in the correct attire and ready to perform their utmost at all times.
• Able to handle guest requests in relation to the Centre in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner at all times.
• To provide efficient and quality filled service to patrons of the Centre, in order to maximize the revenue potential of the Centre for the Hotel.
• Have a good relationship with all colleagues.
• Be understanding, supportive, encouraging and helpful to all.
• Reports directly to the Asst. Manager Fitness Centre.
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as required and designated by Management from time to time.
• During the course of your employment with the Hotel you may be required to stay back or work extended hours as and when the need arises during hotel operations against the responsibility assigned to you.
• You might be required to do night shifts or be flexible to work in any shift as per the requirement of the department or the hotel.
