Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage Service team in Mysuru, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience while upholding our high standards of service and hospitality.

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve meals and drinks in a timely and courteous manner
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and beverages
  • Upsell additional items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
  • Process payments using Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including local cuisine
  • Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong communication skills in English and Kannada
  • Food handling certification preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays/plates
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Understanding of local dining customs and etiquette in Mysuru, India
