Responsible for organizing, planning, and overseeing all daily banquet operations while managing the department's administration to ensure profitability and revenue growth. This role involves coordinating banquet events, supervising the team, and maintaining high service standards. The Banquet Manager will also ensure smooth execution of events, manage resources effectively, and address guest needs promptly to deliver exceptional experiences. Additionally, the position will monitor financial performance, maintain operational efficiency, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Knowledge and Experience
• Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred
• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
