Job Description

Novotel Surfers Paradise is looking for the next General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the Hotel and be an ambassador of the Novotel brand. You will be a passionate, innovative, and results-driven leader with a strong background in the hospitality industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take charge of this busy Gold Coast hotel and lead a dedicated team to success.  

You will be responsible for: 

  • Leading, inspiring and developing an exceptional team of hospitality professionals to enable their individual growth and help drive the overall success of the business 

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience 

  • Supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets 

  • Overseeing the marketing and sales efforts to maximise occupancy and revenue. 

  • Championing employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists 


Qualifications

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded. 

About You 

  • A minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience in the hospitality industry. 

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large hotel operations and delivering outstanding financial results. 

  • Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs 

  • Passionate to develop self and others 

  • Excellent communication, creating impactful relationships with your team 

  • Fosters a positive owner relationship while and maximising performance 

  • Full Australian working rights
