Job Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee the entire operations of the Hotel and deal effectively with guests and team members while keeping the hotel running smoothly

  • Manage day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring the efficient running of all departments.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of department heads and staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional service levels are maintained across all departments, resolving guest issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, control costs, and improve profitability through strategic planning and resource optimisation.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to meet company standards and local regulations.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to develop and execute operational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of guest service and satisfaction.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
