Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead our operations in Novotel Almaty City Center, Kazakhstan. As the primary strategic business leader, you will be responsible for driving overall performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving financial goals while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize revenue and profitability
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including finance, human resources, sales, and marketing
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments
  • Manage budgets and financial performance to meet or exceed targets
  • Cultivate a positive company culture that promotes innovation and employee engagement
  • Represent the company at industry events and in the local business community

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar senior leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and implementation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge Kazak, and Russian languages will be an advantage
  • Track record of driving innovation and implementing process improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisive actions
  • Experience in change management and organizational development
