About Ibis Barcelona Meridiana

The Ibis Barcelona Meridiana is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the L1 metro line, providing easy access to Barcelona's most iconic landmarks. The hotel is situated 8 km from Barcelona Sants train station and 20 km from Barcelona El Prat airport.

As the General Manager of the hotel, your key responsibilities will be:

• Serve as the primary strategic business leader, overseeing hotel operations to achieve customer satisfaction (guests, employees, corporate, and owner) and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
• Ensure the highest quality of service, embodying the Ibis brand ethos.
• Optimize RevPar through effective management of various sales channels.
• Lead the team by exemplifying the Heartist spirit.
• Guarantee the quality of Accommodation & Catering offerings.
• Implement and monitor procedures to ensure proper standards are maintained.
• Uphold labor relations, health, and safety standards.
• Represent ACCOR and the hotel owner in all relevant matters.

• Proven experience in the Hospitality industry.
• Strong customer orientation, commitment, and emotional intelligence.
• Serve as a point of reference and credibility for hotel staff and stakeholders.
• Solid managerial skills to unite the team around shared goals, focusing on quality and economic objectives.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
