Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our hotel operations in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth in this dynamic market.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the hotel's business objectives in sales, revenue management, and brand marketing
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of department heads and staff to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, corporate clients, and community partners
  • Drive innovation in service delivery and operational processes to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to inform business strategies
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to align hotel operations with broader company goals
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems across all departments
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention
  • Represent the hotel in local business and community events to enhance its reputation and market position

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in international hotel chain (Accor Experience will be an advantage)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional financial and operational results in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance standards
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with fluency in English; proficiency in Russian or Kazakh is highly beneficial
  • Solid commercial acumen and business insight, particularly in financial management and budgeting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and revenue management systems
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and market trends
  • Familiarity with the business environment and culture of Kazakhstan
  • Knowledge of local hospitality industry trends and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Visionary leadership style with a collaborative approach to decision-making

Restaurant: The on-site restaurant, "74 Urban Food," offers a variety of local and international cuisines.

Bar/Lounge: Guests can unwind at the bar/lounge, enjoying a selection of beverages in a relaxed atmosphere.

Meeting Room: The hotel features a meeting room named "AKTOBE," covering 49 m². It can accommodate up to 35 people, making it suitable for various events and conferences.
