Job Description

We are looking for a passionate talent with former General Manager experience who will prepare the successful opening of our second Accor hotel in Hungary's second-largest city, Debrecen. The amazing new built hotel is set to open in March 2025 with 93 keys (73 rooms + 20 apartments), lobby restaurant, bar & meeting facilities, operated under ibis Styles brand via Hotel Management Agreement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare the successful opening of the hotel, be an ambassador of the brand and the property as General Manager, where your leadership, strong  interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged team, guest satisfaction and maximized operating results. You will bring your strong commercial and business acumen, and tenacity to drive the top line to exceed targets.


Qualifications

  • Skilled hotelier with former General Manager experience
  • Operational excellence
  • Hotel opening experience is considered as an advantage
  • Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
  • Leadership, autonomy
  • Strategical mindset with solid top line knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls in previous roles
  • Service and quality minded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
  • Passionate to grow and develop self and others
  • Fluency in English
  • Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage
