Job Description

We are looking for a passionate talent to lead the operations of a managed 3-star vibrant economy hotel under the ibis brand. This unique property is centrally located, close to the historic district of Mala Strana in Prague, offering 225 rooms with a restaurant, bar and meeting rooms - suitable for both business and leisure travelers. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successful management of 3-star economy hotel , operated under the ibis brand via Hotel Management Agreement
  • Strengthen the hotel’s market position, search and identify new business opportunities; build up long-term business relationships.
  • Plan and manage the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, talents, corporate, owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
  • Be the heart of the hotel and lead by example; create a positive, team-oriented working environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in operational managerial positions (e.g. in Ops Manager / Deputy GM / GM roles)
  • Strong operational background
  • Outstanding sales acumen, commercial mindset
  • Fluency in English language
  • Czech language knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
  • Leadership, autonomy
  • Service and quality minded character
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills
  • Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
