Batman’s Hill on Collins is a charming historical hotel conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The Hotel offers 190 rooms, suites and apartments, 9 conference spaces, two restaurants, The Garden Bistro for breakfast, and the Oak Room Restaurant and Lounge for lunch, dinner or drinks.


Job Description

Batman’s Hill on Collins is looking for a General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the Hotel. You will be a passionate, innovative, and results-driven leader with a strong background in the hospitality industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take charge of a thriving hotel, and lead a dedicated team to success.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, inspiring and developing an exceptional team of hospitality professionals to enable their individual growth and help drive the overall success of the business
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience
  • Supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets
  • Overseeing the marketing and sales efforts to maximise occupancy and revenue
  • Championing employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years senior management experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering outstanding financial results
  • Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs
  • Passionate to develop self and others
  • Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with your team
  • Fosters a positive owner relationship while maximising performance
