Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and versatile Front Office All-Rounder to join our team at Hotel Woolstore 1888. This unique hybrid role combines Front Office and Food & Beverage, offering the opportunity to create exceptional guest experiences across multiple areas of our boutique hotel.
As a Heartist, you will be at the centre of the guest journey — welcoming guests at reception, providing personalised service and supporting our restaurant and bar operations. You will thrive in a role where no two days are the same and where your genuine passion for hospitality helps create memorable moments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver personalised check-in and check-out experiences that reflect the Handwritten Collection spirit.
- Assist guests with enquiries, payments, requests and daily hotel services.
- Support Food & Beverage operations by delivering attentive service across our restaurant and bar.
- Assist with events, functions and dining experiences within the hotel.
- Create meaningful guest connections by sharing your knowledge of the hotel and local area.
- Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns with care and professionalism.
- Support broader hotel operations including phones, emails and occasional porter duties.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys variety and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
You will bring:
- Experience in Front Office, Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality role.
- A genuine passion for personalised service and creating positive guest interactions.
- A friendly and confident communication style with the ability to connect with people.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible, team-focused approach and willingness to support across hotel operations.
- Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud is advantageous but not essential.
- Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
