About Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli
Orient Express will open its second hotel in Italy at the exceptional Palazzo Donà Giovannelli in Venice, in partnership with the Italian luxury hotel group ARSENALE. Architect and interior designer Aline Amar d’Amman, alongside her studio Culture in Architecture, has been entrusted to design and decorate the space.
Venice, once the gateway to Constantinople and a mythical stop on the legendary Orient Express train – that opened its doors in 1919 with the completion of the Simplon tunnel linking Switzerland to Italy – will be the home of the second Orient Express hotel, set to open in 2026.
Descrizione generale: Il Front Office Agent Turnante è il professionista responsabile della gestione dell'accoglienza, del check-in, del check-out e dell'assistenza agli ospiti di una struttura alberghiera. La sua particolarità risiede nella flessibilità oraria, poiché copre a rotazione tutti i turni del reparto ricevimento, inclusi la mattina, il pomeriggio e, a seconda delle esigenze aziendali, il turno notturno.
Procedure di Check-in e Check-out: Accoglie gli ospiti al loro arrivo, verifica i documenti d'identità, inserisce i dati nel sistema gestionale e assegna le camere. Al momento della partenza, gestisce la chiusura del conto, l'emissione della fattura o della ricevuta fiscale e l'incasso dei pagamenti.
Accoglienza e Assistenza Clienti: Fornisce informazioni sui servizi dell'hotel, sugli orari e sulle attrazioni turistiche del territorio. Gestisce le richieste degli ospiti durante il soggiorno e si occupa della risoluzione tempestiva di eventuali reclami o problemi segnalati.
Gestione delle Prenotazioni e Centralino: Risponde alle chiamate telefoniche e alle email, inserisce le nuove prenotazioni nel software gestionale (PMS) e gestisce i canali di vendita online o le richieste dei walk-in, ovvero i clienti che si presentano in struttura senza prenotazione.
Turno Notturno e Night Audit (se applicabile): Durante il turno di notte, svolge le funzioni di Night Audit, che includono la chiusura contabile della giornata finanziaria, la verifica dei corrispettivi, il controllo delle casse e la preparazione dei rapporti per la direzione e per l'ufficio contabilità.
Sicurezza e Controllo: Monitora gli accessi alla struttura durante le ore notturne o nei momenti di minore affluenza, garantendo l'applicazione delle procedure di sicurezza dell'hotel e la tutela degli ospiti.
Competenze Richieste: Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese e preferibilmente di una seconda lingua straniera. Padronanza dei principali software gestionali alberghieri (come Opera, Protel o simili). Eccellenti doti comunicative, orientamento al cliente, capacità di problem solving e una spiccata flessibilità nella gestione degli orari di lavoro.
