Job Description

  • Supervise and support front desk staff in their daily tasks.
  • Train and mentor new team members.
  • Schedule and manage front desk staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
  • Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and handle special requests efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfill guest needs.
  • Oversee the front desk operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of front desk supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes.
  • Monitor and report on front desk revenue and occupancy rates.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front desk or hotel operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
